Antiwick Thread Water Resistance Test Video demonstrates a test showing the water resistant properties of a regular bonded thread verses the Antiwick thread. Antiwick V-92 Polyester UV Thread is a smooth, bonded polyester thread with a wax coating that is specifically designed to prevent weeping seams. In the stitching process, the needle leaves tiny holes in the fabric around the stitches. Antiwick thread fills those holes with wax to make seams more water tight.
