An awning can make a big difference on a hot day. This awning kit features 8.3 oz Stamoid, a premium quality vinyl coated woven polyester fabric with a 5 year warranty. Stamoid is excellent for awnings. It is light weight and so easy to fold and store and at the same time it is very strong. It is waterproof, has good tensile strength, outstanding UV resistance, is treated against mildew and is easy to clean. A top choice!
A number of construction alternatives are detailed in the instruction booklet for this kit. Thus, the kit is identified by the size of the fabric blank that can be fabricated, rather than by the finished size of the awning roof which will depend upon the style of the structure and whether it has a front, a back, or sides.
Fabric panels are not presewn. Size given for kit indicates dimensions after panels are sewn but before hems and sleeves are added. Finished size will be approximately 1 foot shorter and 6-inches narrower. Girth and length can be exchanged.
