CDI Furler Suggestion |

| I installed my CDI furler (FF7) last weekend. I did it on my own but had to resort to a trick that I thought you may want to share with other customers. I used the jib halyard to get the extrusion up to the top of the mast. I had to put some grease in the hole. I tied a small curtain cord type line to the turnbuckle screw using a plastic cable tie. The kind used for tying electrical wires. I then attached the jib halyard to the slide in the groove making sure I also had a line there to be able to pull it down once it would be at the top. I then used the winch on the mast to pull the extrusion up a few feet. I would then go to the end and pull the slack on the string. Back to the halyard and winch up a few feet again. Back and forth like that about 10 times until the whole extrusion was up. I then reconnected the turnbuckle and I was done. This in my opinion, would have to be the only way for 1 person to be able to get this job done.
