| Spur Grommets |
| These spur grommets feature rolled rims and spur teeth that penetrate the fabric and lock the two metal halves together. A spur grommet is much, much stronger than the common washer grommet. A die set is required for installation. | |

| Grommet Tools |
| High quality Die Sets and Hole Cutters for setting grommets. The Spur Die is necessary to set SPUR grommets (those with teeth and rolled rims). To set a Common Washer Grommet (Plain Grommet) you must use a Plain Grommet Die Set. To set a grommet with a die set you must first punch a hole in the fabric. We stock many different hole cutters here. You will also find here the Pres-N-Snap tool here which can install holes and even some grommets. | |

| Eyelet Grommets |
| Eyelet Grommets are used at the corners of sails and anywhere a purchase on fabric is required. Brass Rings are first sewn to the fabric with twine then the eyelet grommets are pressed inside to protect the thread from chafe. | |

| Jiffy Grommets |
| Our own invention - two anodized aluminum washers that fit on each side of the fabric. Special tools are not required - simply use a hammer to mushroom the ends of the soft aluminum rivets in place. | |
