This is a great sewing machine motor. Developes 1/10th hp at 8000 rpm and draws 1.5 amps. More power than any standard home sewing machine motor.

Clutch Motor 1/2 hp, 1725 RPM, 110 Volt

Sailrite modifies these motors by adding a smaller 1 3/4-inch motor pulley to slow the top end speed of the machine to 863 stitches per minute (normal speed is 1940 stitches per minute). The smaller pulley also increases low speed power and machine responsiveness.
