Sail Hardware
Sailrite stocks every component necessary to build or repair a sail. Sail Hardware range includes; slugs, slides, shackles, sail track, mast hoops, sail numbers, battens, headboards, rings, and more. When looking for sailmaking supply materials - Sailrite is your best source!

Batten Material & End Caps
Pultruded fiberglass reinforced heavy duty sail battens for sailboat sails. Also find tapered battens designed to be light weight and durable. We stock may batten end caps for your batten application.

Cleats
Here you will find cleats for your sail's leach line, jam cleats, HITCHCRAFT RopeTies and Harken® clam cleats which are still the best performing cleats on the market.

D-Rings, Round Rings & Eyelets
D-Rings, Round Rings used in the head and tack corners of roller reefing headsails. Also find Ring & Eyelets used for corner attachments in sails or anywhere a purchase on fabric is required.

Hanks
These Hanks attach on the forestay wire and are installed to the sail by inserting a screw into two plastic "ears" that fit over and behind the luff reinforcement. These hanks are used primarily on day sailing boats under 20 feet.

Headboards & Rivets
Headboards are used in sails to provide support for additional roach area and a purchase point for the halyard. Use these rivets in headboards, leech line cleats and other applications.

Hoops
Sail Hoops used for the Sunfish sailboat. Also find the White Oak Mast Hoop which is steam bent into rings then copper riveted and finished with oil and shellac.

Sail Numbers, Insignia, Logos & UV Dacron
Basic boat identification sail numbers. No sewing required. Just peel away the backing paper and smooth in place. You will also find some sailboat logos and UV Protected Dacron Adhesive material used in protecting roller furling sails.

Sail Track & Mast Stops
This rolled stainless sail track is commonly used on wooden spars in conjunction with external slides. Makes hoisting the sail up and down the mast possible.

Shackles
Shackles are often used to secure a slug or slide to the sail. There are several ways in which they can be installed depending on the shackle choice.

Slides
Sail slides are used to secure mains or mizzens to their spars. They are attached ahead of the boltrope and inserted in the slot instead of the rope.

Slugs for Sailboats
Sail slugs are used to secure mains or mizzens to their spars. Slugs are attached ahead of the boltrope and inserted in the slot instead of the rope.

Snaps (Jib Snaps)
Sail Snaps are used to secure jibs to the wire forestay. A sail snap locks positively over the stay with a sliding piston or a torsion spring that closes a hooked end.

Spinnaker Hardware & Gear
Spinnaker Hardware – ATN Tacker, Brummel Hooks, Spinnaker Hoops, Sister Clip with Ferrule, Double Swivel Shackles and more.

Tack, Clew & Headboard Plates
Headboards, Clew Plates & Tack Plates are simple plates that are either webbed in place at the corners of sails or covers or that are riveted in place as matched pairs on opposite sides of the fabric.

Tell-Tales
Tell tales show the air flow across the sails—allowing you to trim sails for maximum performance.

Tiller Extensions
Tiller extensions by Ronstan provide the highest level of control, for quick, decisive helm response in every situation.
