	Sailrite has selected the following sailcloth from the world's largest sailcloth manufactures -- Bainbridge, Challenge, Dimension Polyant & Contender. There is a lot of variety here and Sailrite is eager to aid in proper sailcloth selection.

Dacron Sailcloth

We carry a full range of Dacron sailcloth in various weights and colors from Challenge Sailcloth and Contender.

Laminate Sailcloth

Laminate Sailcloth is extremely high tech cloth fabrics designed for sail performance above all. These sailcloth materials are composites made up of layers of different materials. Mylar is always one or more layer while others can be Dacron, PEN, Twaron, or Spectra.

Monofilm

Monofilm is a light weight, inexpensive mylar material that will not stretch. It makes good windows in sails because it is relatively light and very clear. The major sailcloth used in windsurfer sails. Also used for boardsails and telltale windows.

Ripstop Spinnaker Sailcloth

This is the most popular nylon ripstop sailcloth for all-purpose spinnakers, asymmetrical racing spinnakers and staysails. It is also used for kites. Many different Ripstop Spinnaker Sailcloth colors and weights are available.

UV Dacron

This is Dacron fabric with a special UV protective application to keep the Dacron from decaying rapidly in the sun. Use it for awnings, covers and sacrificial covers for sails.
