Spur Grommets
These spur grommets feature rolled rims and spur teeth that penetrate the fabric and lock the two metal halves together. A spur grommet is much, much stronger than the common washer grommet. A die set is required for installation.

Do not confuse Spur Grommets with the common washer grommets that are sold in hardware stores everywhere. Spur grommets are of heavier metal with spurs (teeth) all around the inside rim of the washer that lock into a rolled edge on the barrel part of the grommet. As a result, they will not easily pull out of the fabric. Hole diameter
