Webbing & Hardware
Webbing is a length of woven fabric tape with selvedge edges i.e., it is woven in such a way that there are no yarn ends along the sides. Common uses for webbing are slings, bags, reinforcement and straps. Because webbing is flat it distributes stress across a broader area and causes very little abrasive damage and is less prone to tangles although knots do not hold well. Webbing can easily be sewn to increase its length or create loops at it ends for the installation of webbing hardware.

Webbing
Sailrite carries many different types of webbing or strapping; Nylon, Polyester, Polypropylene, Spectra and Tubular webbings. Under each webbing category you will find a description detailing what each type of webbing is best used for. Be sure to pick the correct webbing for the appropriate outdoor marine or home application.

Webbing Hardware
Webbing hardware is often used with webbing to attach awnings, secure dodger & bimini frames & sail covers, on life jackets, adjust webbing, compress battens....
