Cording and piping operations are common in bag and upholstery work. We have developed a couple of presser feet to aid in these tasks. They result in a perfect installation every time. Note that this foot is available in three different gauges (for different sized cord or piping) and in a left or right-hand needle penetration, i.e., as you face the machine the needle will be to the left or right of the foot.
For use on the Sailmaker, the Long Arm, the SR200 and the Yachtsman as well as high shank home sewing machines. Not appropriate for Ultrafeed machines.
This is a High Shank Foot, 1 1/4" overall height. A low shank foot would be 3/4" overall height.
We find that the right foot is most commonly used and the 3/16" penetration is most useful for smaller and larger cording as well.
