Foot Control Set-up:
With a screwdriver, pry apart the foot control near the pivot point of the foot. Unplug your wiring and then strip the ends to expose about 1/4" of the electrical wire. The black protective bushing is used to protect the cord where it enters the side of the foot. Sandwich the bushing around the cord a few inches from the end and insert in the hole in the side of the foot (insert the smaller end of the bushing first). Use pliers to crimp the bushing tight if necessary and push or pull the bushing until it snaps securely in place. Using the wire nuts, secure your wire ends with the two wires coming out of the wire harness (white socket with two short wires) inside the foot. Plug in the white socket of the wire harness in the foot and snap the foot back together.
