Spur die sets are used for setting spur grommets, i.e., grommets with spurs or teeth all around the inside rim of the washer that lock into a rolled edge on the barrel part of the grommet. As a result, they will not easily pull out of the fabric. This die set will last a lifetime with proper care.
Note: a spur die is necessary for setting spur grommets.
