This canvas bag kit is based on Emiliano Marino's plans found in
The Sailmaker's Apprentice. His intent is to teach the various hand sewing techniques used in traditional sailmaking while making the bag. Some of the materials required are hard to find; so Sailrite offers this kit.

Cotton duck fabric Twine 3-ply Polyester twine natural Manila Twisted Rope Brass Round Thimbles Wax Hand Sewing Needle Marking Pencil Instructions do not come with this kit. Recommended tools include; a swivel bench hook, an adjustable palm and push pins.
