Foam Dry Fast Open Cell is an open cell foam (reticulated foam) with open pores that allow water and air to pass through easily. As a result, Dry Fast foams are softer and cooler to sit and sleep on than closed cell foams. This 4" open cell foam is perfect for sleeping and v-berth mattress pads and does not bottom out!
Dry Fast Foam is proven to be a superior cushioning material alternative with better quality, consistency, airflow, and heat dissipation. It is manufactured using a patented Variable Pressure Foaming (VPF) technology which produces the open pores that enhance airflow, drainability, and durability for more consistent comfort and a better night's sleep. This foam is also formulated with an antibacterial agent so mold and mildew will not grow.

Easy to cleanCut and trim foam to size using a foam cutter or even an electric kitchen knife. Pieces of foam can be glued together to form larger pieces or to reduce waste.
Sailrite recommends covering the foam with a high-performance, breathable fabric like Sunbrella for the top and sides and Phifertex mesh or Cushion underlining for the bottom to allow for moisture to escape. The result is a virtually maintenance-free foam in sun, rain and snow! Outdoor cushions will not retain water and indoor bedding feels much cooler.
Professionals also suggest laminating a thin sheet of closed cell foam to the bottom of Dry Fast for the ultimate in cushion comfort and performance. Poke holes (with a small grommet hole cutter) in the closed cell foam so the foam will drain.
