This urethane foam is fairly inexpensive and designed for indoor and outdoor use. This is not the standard foam sold by retail outlets. It is formulated with an antibacterial agent and its FR rating meets California's technical bulletin 117 for the vertical burn test. Density per cubic foot is 1.5 lbs and indentation force deflection (IFD) is 40 lbs. (a 50 sq. inch circle compressing the foam by 25% of its thickness would require 40 lbs of pressure). For exterior cushion use we recommend wrapping this foam in plastic.

Simply use an electric kitchen knife to trim the foam to size. Pieces can be glued together with Bostik Contact Adhesive to form larger pieces or to reduce waste.
