Hidem Gimp Oyster 5/8" is most commonly used to cover stapled seams and is perfect as a headliner trim. Hidem Gimp is made from premium marine grade vinyl (with PreFixx) and is specially folded and sewn to itself along both edges to create a 5/8" binding. Fold the Hidem Gimp back from the middle and place over the unfinished edge. Then staple or tack under the folds to secure the welting in place. The folds of the binding will conceal the staples or tacks for a finished and clean appearance.
