This hole cutter can be used to make a hole for installing snap fasteners. Use the Rubber Cutting Block, soft wood surface or a phone book under the fabric to prevent damage to the tool. There is no cheaper and easier way to make a hole in the fabric for snaps when using the Snap Fastener Tools.
If using the "Pres-n-Snap" tool you will not need this hole cutter. The Pres n Snap tool creates the hole as it inserts the snaps.
