Schmetz "Specialty" Needles This pack of needles is for our Ultrafeed, Sailrite 111, the Professional and Thompson Mini-Walker sewing machines. "DI" Needles — Optimized for heavy, dry, hard leather. Blade cuts the fibers so that the needle does not have to separate them. Needle sizes are listed two ways, e.g., a #22 needle is also a "140" (European description) needle. A #12 is a small needle. A #22 is a very large needle.
