"Serv7" Needles — Optimized scarf shape for thick layers of material. Blades reinforced by up to 20%. Helps avoid skipped stitches, reduces needle breakage. In general needle size can be one less than normal. A good needle to use with Tenara/Profilen thread. Sew heavy fabrics, jeans. Needle sizes are listed two ways, e.g., a #14 needle is also a "90" (European description) needle. A #12 is a small needle. A #22 is a very large needle.
