40 Gauge Vinyl

by -

Great product to work with. Give the roll a week or so laying flat to relax. I'm sure that it would flatten out a lot faster in the sun. The 40 gauge material hold its shape well and isn't any more difficult to sew than the 30 gauge.

Great experience!

I usually do not write reviews on products but that was before connecting with Sailrite. I have a Jeep Wrangler with a soft top and the vinyl has been deteriorating for the last 10 years. But since the replacement pieces are very expensive I decided to just repair what I have since the canvas is in good shape. I started watching a few educational Sailrite YouTube videos. They are extremely easy to understand and productive. I’ve never used binding or transfer tape but now I’m hooked. To sum up, I bought 40-gauge vinyl and the fixings. Sewed them into my Jeep top and my windows are perfect! The materials are high quality. Their website is great and the whole experience down to the shipping was top notch.

Regalite 40 gauge

by -

Used the 40 gauge Regalite to replace old vinyl on rear enclosure for a 48' Ocean. The Regalite seem to be a bit more flexible then the Crystal Clear 40 gauge however that might be just me. I used the Regalite because it had a better rating for UV on the Sailrite website. I gave it 4 stars because only time will tell how it holds up to the elements/UV/etc.
