SnapRite® Stud Die

Sailrite's SnapRite^® Stud Die is a uniquely designed die that screws into the end of a standard rivet tool to quickly install a stud fastener in a cloth-to-cloth application. The die holds the stud firmly in place so it won’t get lost during installation. Works with any standard stud.

The SnapRite Stud Die is part of the SnapRite System that turns a standard rivet tool into a snap installation tool. The SnapRite System utilizes four unique dies that work in conjunction with each other to quickly and accurately install snap fasteners. This revolutionary system allows for installation on site, and works with DOT^® snaps, Pull-the-DOT^®, gypsy studs and stainless steel snaps. The SnapRite System requires the use of SnapRite Buttons and SnapRite Gypsy Studs (for use with mandrel). Other components can be any type in Ligne 24 size (most common size where button top measures 5/8" diameter).

The SnapRite Stud Die is designed to be paired with the SnapRite Eyelet Die for typical snap installations or with the SnapRite Socket Die when installing gypsy studs. To use, screw the Stud Die onto the end of a standard rivet tool. Press the stud into the die. The rivet tool will go over a mandrel and rivet the stud to an eyelet or gypsy socket which are nestled in their mating dies.

Please Note:The Stud Die that comes in this kit is only intended to install cloth-to-cloth fasteners. Using the Stud Die to install surface studs will break the die. To install surface studs, use the Surface Mount Stud Die #103754 (sold separately).
