Stamoid 12.7oz Pearl Grey 59" is the most popular vinyl used on super yachts. This vinyl-coated, high-tenacity woven polyester is completely waterproof and treated against mildew. Stamoid has outstanding UV resistance and almost no shrinkage (less than 0.5%). Due to its high tenacity woven polyester construction, Stamoid does not expand or have humidity sagging problems common to many other marine fabrics. Stamoid vinyl is also easy to sew, fold, and stow.
Stamoid fabric is designed for outdoor use. Use Stamoid Pearl Grey for dodgers, spray hoods, biminis, boat tops, boat awnings, enclosure curtains, convertible tops, sun shades, protective covers, dinghy covers, and architectural structures. Both sides of this marine fabric are the same, meaning that either side can be exposed to the outside. Clean with mild soap and water or IMAR Stamoid cleaning products.
