Vinyl coated woven polyester Stamoid has a 5 year warranty and a life expectancy of up to 10 years. Due to its high tenacity woven polyester construction this fabric does not show the humidity sagging problem common to many marine fabrics.
Not only does it not expand, it also does not shrink appreciably. Shrinkage is less than 1/2 of 1% — covers and enclosure panels can be removed wet or dry and when replaced their fasteners will attach right back in place throughout the fabric's life.
Two weights are available: 8.3 oz. & 12.7 oz. The 8.3 oz. weight is super light and yet strong. It holds up well and is very easily folded & stowed. The 12.7 weight is vinyl coated on both sides for excellent tear strength and easy cleaning on both sides. It also folds well for storing.
