Bonded Ultra Dee polyester thread has set an industry standard because of its high strength and controlled stretch, its stability in sunlight and its resistance to needle heat, abrasion, salt-water and mildew. It will very seldom fray at the needle eye, and its bonded finish is so consistent that machine tension does not have to be continually adjusted.
V-69, the middle weight, is used with a No. 16 or 18 needle and fabric up to 6 ounces and with 9.5 acrylic cover fabrics like Sunbrella. 5,600 yds per spool.
Be advised that 16 ounce cones will actually range between 12 and 24 ounces. The weight will be stamped on the bottom of the cone. We will refund or bill additionally to allow for this weight variation.
