Harken® 412 Double Cam-Matic® Aluminum Cam Cleat
The Double Cam-Matic® Cam Cleat from Harken® allows for two lines in situations where space is limited or tight. For performance and durability, it is hard to match Cam-Matic cleats. This model features an attached stainless steel eyestrap, as well as three rows of Delrin® ball bearings which allow the jaws to open and close smoothly under high loads. Lines are engaged with simple downward pressure. There is no need to pull highly loaded lines through the jaws to ease sheets or halyards - just flick them out.
In addition, the Cam-Matic patented geometry insures that the same number of teeth grip the line regardless of its diameter. This special geometry feature holds all types of line (small, hard, high-tech, and soft large lines) with equal force and allows for the use of rounded teeth that do not damage lines. The round, die-cast aluminum jaws are hardcoat-anodized with a slippery Teflon impregnation which further resists line abrasion.
