Description
Harken® Bullet Block Through-Deck is a compact, low-friction, lightweight turning block with a medium sheave diameter of 1-1/8" (29 mm). It is ideal for use on smaller dinghies and lightly loaded control lines on boats of all sizes. Through-deck blocks, as the name suggests, are installed to be nearly flush with a surface and are used to lead lines through the deck and bulkhead.
Delrin© ball bearings ride on flat races for ultimate low load performance, yet they are capable of working loads of up to 300 pounds (136 kg). The side plates are crafted from Delrin® and are UV stabilized with carbon black for maximum protection. Designed for all control applications on smaller boats where up to 5/16" (8 mm)line is used, this block has a fast trim and releases under both high and low loads. Easy maintenance: just flush with mild soap and fresh water. Use this block for traveler controls, cunninghams and outhauls, vangs, barber haulers, flag halyards, lead car return tackle and leech cords. The Harken Bullet Through-Deck Block is ideal for use inside spars, as well.
