SheerWeave^® 4400 Eco/Pebblestone 63" Shade Fabric, by Phifer^®, is a lightweight woven mesh designed for creating indoor/outdoor light-filtering shades. Woven from vinyl-coated polyester (25% polyester, 75% vinyl on polyester), the unique manufacturing process of SheerWeave filters and diffuses light and reduces glare to help keep your home cooler and protected from UV rays. Boasting a 97% shade factor and 3% openness factor, this fabric provides great privacy while also allowing outward views and filtered natural light during the day. It has a slightly thicker, more pronounced weave and stiffer hand compared to SheerWeave 2410 along with a different composition, but the same great UV blockage.

SheerWeave 4400 boasts all the notable features of SheerWeave 2410 with the added bonus of being part of an eco-friendly solution that lowers greenhouse emissions in its production. This product is rated as eco-friendly due to the fact that it’s phthalate-free, made with Ecolibrium Bio-Based Plasticizers and is a USDA Certified Bio-Based Product.

Pro Tip: In general, shade fabrics that are a lighter color will absorb less heat and reflect more light making them better insulators but harder to see through. Darker colors will react in an opposing manner; they absorb more heat but allow for much better visibility.
