Reviews

Reviews are a great way to help make a purchasing decision and our Sailrite community appreciates the feedback of an honest review. Please note that we do not allow two reviews on the same product from members of the same household.

If you have a question about a product and other reviewers haven’t answered it for you, send us an email at info@sailrite.com and we’ll answer your questions.

Tips for Writing a Great Review

  • Share what you liked about the product or what you disliked about it. Be as specific as possible in your likes and dislikes and be sure to include why.
  • Tell us how you use the product, how often and for how long. Include what type of a customer you are (do you sew for your home, sailboat, patio, etc.? All of the above?)
  • Be sincere in your review. We want to know what you really think. Share your opinions just like you would with a friend.
  • Keep your review succinct. Reviews are limited to a maximum of 2,500 characters.

Rejected Reviews

We reserve the right to reject or remove any review if it does not comply with the following guidelines.

We will reject a review that:

  • Is not about the product. Feedback regarding shipping, stock, our website or customer service related issues is not a product review. You may share this information with us at sailrite@sailrite.com.
  • Contains inappropriate material. Comments containing profanity, threats, attacks aimed at other commenters, hate speech or personal information such as mailing addresses, phone numbers or email addresses.
  • Is promotional in nature. Reviews advertising other products or competitors are not permitted nor are links to non-Sailrite URLs.
  • Contains only questions about the product, not feedback. Reviews are for customers who have already purchased an item to leave their feedback. If you have questions about the product, please email us at info@sailrite.com instead or use our live chat feature.

We welcome and appreciate your honest reviews. Please note that in some cases a review may be rejected if it describes the misuse of a product or supporting product. Additionally we may reject a review from a purchase we cannot verify. To be sure you’re a verified purchaser, log in to your account prior to leaving a review.

Comments

We have a comments section on all of our how-to content at Sailrite.com to encourage discussion. You can share your personal experiences, ask questions and engage with other DIYers right on our site.

You can comment by creating a Disqus account or logging in to Disqus via your social media profile.

To maintain a spam-free and positive environment, all comments will be moderated before being published. Comments that pass the guidelines will be approved as soon as possible. We will reject a comment if it:

  • Contains inappropriate content. Comments containing profanity, threats, attacks on other commenters, hate speech or personal information such as mailing addresses, phone numbers or email addresses.
  • Is promotional in nature. Comments advertising other products or competitors are not permitted nor are links to non-Sailrite URLs.
  • Is spam-like. Any comment assumed to be spam will be rejected and marked as spam.

In addition, comments should be related to the post on which they appear. Comments that are off-topic or take the discussion off on a tangent may be rejected.

Disclaimers

Sailrite reserves the right to edit, delete, move or mark as spam any and all comments. We also reserve the right to block access from comments to users who repeatedly don’t agree with these guidelines.

All comments on our how-to content are the responsibility of the commenter, not Sailrite. By submitting a comment on our site, you agree that the comment content is your own and hold Sailrite harmless from any and all repercussions, damages or liability.
