Is Sailrite still open?

We are currently open and continuing normal operations. On March 23, 2020, Indiana governor Eric Holcomb issued Executive Order 20-08 Directive for Hoosiers to Stay at Home. Under the Executive Order, Sailrite meets the following requirements of essential businesses:

  • the phrase "Essential Business and Operations" includes "Healthcare and Public Health Operations," which also encompasses "Supplies for Essential Businesses and Operations" including "businesses that sell, manufacture, and/or supply other Essential Businesses and Operations with the support or materials necessary to operate."
  • Sailrite qualifies as "Essential Businesses and Operations" under the Critical Infrastructure Sector of "Critical Manufacturing," which includes "Workers necessary for the manufacturing of materials and products needed for medical supply chains."

This Executive Order grants us permission to remain open and continue normal business operations. We are continuing to adhere to the state mandated guidelines regarding sanitation, restricted visitor entry and proper social distancing tactics.

When will my order ship?

We are currently experiencing an extremely high number of orders due to COVID-19. Please be aware that it may take 14 business days for your order to ship.

Please Note: If an order includes an item(s) that is on backorder and we are uncertain as to when it might become available, Sailrite reserves the right to remove said item(s) from your order so that we can ship the rest of your items in a timely manner.

Due to pressures on our system as well as pressures on our shipping carriers (UPS and USPS), it is highly likely that packages will take longer than our standard 2-3 day shipping turnaround. UPS air shipments (Next Day and 2nd Day) continue to take priority and will ship quickly, though — at this time — we can not guarantee that air orders will leave our facility the day the order is placed. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. As of March 26, 2020, UPS has suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments to any destination.

Please continue to rely upon item stock status and the "Out of Stock - More Coming" data for products you are ordering or waiting for. We do work diligently to keep the dates as accurate as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes, and we ask for your patience and understanding. We are working as hard as we can to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

Attention business owners and those with commercial addresses:

If you are a business owner and are ordering supplies from Sailrite, please be aware that UPS has new delivery procedures and protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If your business address is closed when UPS arrives to deliver your package, they will send it back to Sailrite. Sailrite will assume the shipment is to be refunded and return shipping charges from the carrier will be deducted. In such cases, we would recommend you reorder and ship to a home address or work with the carrier to make sure they know your delivery status before attempting to have a new order delivered to the same address. Sailrite will not be held responsible for any shipping charges in these situations.
