Eye splices in wire are made with nicopress sleeves. The nicopress sleeve is nothing more than a shaped, hollow zinc-plated copper sleeve. The two parts of the wire are placed through the sleeve, and it is squeezed together over them. A neat and proper installation requires our nicopress installation tool, but they can be secured fairly well with just a vise or vise grip pliers.
