Item Description

O'Sea Polished 30 Gauge Vinyl 54" x 110" Clear is a premium press polished window material with exceptional optical clarity and durability. O'Sea window material is a marine grade window material manufactured from thermoplastic clear vinyl material and formulated for maximum UV stability. The window material is coated to provide a scratch and chemical resistant barrier, pressed, and then highly polished resulting in a soft, flexible, press-polished sheet. The chemical resistance includes sun tan lotion, insect repellent, and jet fuel vapor. This clear vinyl window material is perfect for marine windows, marine cabin enclosures, dodgers, awnings, and other marine and automotive applications requiring the best in clarity and durability.

O'Sea Vinyl Window Material Installation

Baste window material in place with seamstick over the fabric. Sew the window in place using a #18 or #20 needle and V-69 or V-92 thread. After sewing, use scissors to trim away the fabric from the window. Bind the raw edges with binding for a more finished appearance.

Due to a slight blue tint, we recommend pairing O'Sea with other O'Sea or Regalite products.

The manufacturer lists the size of the sheet as 54" x 110", however we have found that the sheet size varies up to 3 inches in length and 1 inch in width.

Crystal clear

We refinished our 2002 Chaparral 350 Signature with this O'Sea Polished 30 Guage. The glass was flawless. Our finished product was beautiful. As an amateur, I used a couple of techniques that may be useful to others. I used a noodle float to roll nearly 8 ft small enough to insert it through the machine. Also, on a few awkward stitch runs, my machine would leave scratches on the glass with my walking foot ( I have a Consew). To prevent this on these stitches, I would tape a slim strip of isinglass on each surface using blue painters tape. The residue from the tape was easily removed with WD40 and a microfiber cloth. Of note, as amateurs, we worked on top of our pool table. Finally, we cleaned and polished the glass with your Inmar cleaner and polish. This was a time consuming project but extremely satisfying. Thanks Sailrite team!
