Super Cruise Dacron Sailcloth is designed to provide maximum durability without compromising performance. Woven on the latest and best looms, these fabrics are quite balanced in weave (there is some yarn crimp in both the warp and the fill) which means that less resin is required to maintain shape. So these Dacrons have a relatively soft hand. Durability is maximized by high mass warp yarns in weights over 7 oz which provide resistance to degradation from Ultra-violet rays, resistance to tear, and better abrasion resistance.
A good choice for cruising sailors. A very durable fabric that provides respectable performance at a reasonable price.
