Super Cruise Dacron Sailcloth is designed to provide maximum durability without compromising performance. Woven on the latest and best looms, these fabrics are quite balanced in weave (there is some yarn crimp in both the warp and the fill) which means that less resin is required to maintain shape. Durability is maximized by high mass warp yarns in weights over 7 oz which provide resistance to degradation from Ultra-violet rays, resistance to tear, and better abrasion resistance.
A good choice for those who enjoy sailing for its own sake. A very durable fabric that still provides respectable performance. A sailcloth's weight is measured in terms of the ounces of a 36" x 28.5" piece.
