Get Great Fitting Covers and Tops with the Quick Fit Snap Fastener Tool; allows for positioning and repositioning of the female portion of the snap prior to installation in order to obtain the best fit.
First install the male portions of the snap fasteners (the parts with the screw, also called the studs). Snap the special female sockets with their pin heads onto the male portions. Now pull the fabric into position and poke the first pin head thru it and place the special plastic holding cap over the pin. Continue this process. If it turns out that some of the female snaps are not positioned proper, their holding caps can be removed and the fabric lifted and repositioned over the pins. Repositioning can be done over and over until a proper fit is accomplished without damaging the fabric. Finally use the Release Tool to carefully unsnap each quick fit assembly from the snap stud. Install button and socket snap components at each position marked by the quick fit parts.
