These Schmetz System 130 (15x1) needles are high quality i.e., without burrs which can cause the spearing of thread. We have found that some home machines work better in heavy fabrics if the tips of the needles are slightly blunted and, so, these needles have what are called all purpose, modified ball points. These needles have a flat side on the shank that inserts into the machine. 10 Pack.
Note: needle sizes are listed two ways, e.g., a #14 needle is also an 90 needle. A #12 is a small needle. A #20 needle is a large needle.
