Sewing Machine Needles 135x17 Serv7 #14 (Pack 10) is a pack of specialty needles designed to prevent skipped stitches when sewing stretchy or slippery materials, or when sewing heavy and thick assemblies. Serv7 needles have extra reinforcement compared to other needle types, which means they are far less likely to bend when sewing through thick, dense assemblies. If you find that you are breaking your standard Round Point (Sharp) needles, switch to Serv7 needles and the problem should be resolved. When switching from Round Point to Serv7, you can go down a needle size without losing any needle strength due to the needle's increased stability.
Needle sizes are listed two ways, by size and measurement, so a #14 needle is the same as a 90. For more information on needle and thread choices, view the Thread and Needle Recommendations document.

How to Insert a Sewing Machine Needle
Inserting a needle in a home sewing machine is easy, but what about needles that are industrial style and don't have a flat side on the shaft? It is more difficult to figure out how to insert them appropriately. We will show you the correct way to face the needle in your industrial or heavy duty sewing machine. We will also explain how to thread the needle.
Received product quickly! So excited to use my new Monster of a machine for our new sailboat ⛵️
Nice assortment of machine needles! And love the descriptions and informational material. Just wish shipping costs did not exceed the price of the item.
These needle work great with the Sailrite lifetime thread with some tension adjustment on my LS1 Ultrafeed
I haven’t tried anything yet but one # 14 and I have sewn with it everyday quilting
Worked great for using Tenara thread with our Ls1z
Work great with V-69 thread
Sews thru fabric like butter
Perfect for Nylon/Polyester Webbing
Very strong and long lasting. I use these needles to stitch through polyester and nylon webbing because the material is similar to a dense denim. These needles punch through very smooth without damaging the weave. Because some webs can be thick and stiff I use #14 for thinner material.
Says fits a Singer machine, but it doesn’t.
