These snap fasteners are to be used for "cloth-to-surface" attachment. The "stud" has a 3/8" long "self tapping" screw with a phillips head. Can be used to secure fabric to fiberglass or to wood surfaces and the "socket" is riveted in place with a "button". Complete with silver buttons. These marine snaps are made from top quality nickel plated brass.
Snap fasteners are excellent for covers, cushions, etc. They can also be used as forestay hanks for sails under 100 square feet when installed on appropriate tabs of fabric or webbing.
