After cutting a #10 finished zipper to shorten it, install two stainless steel zipper stops to keep the zipper slider from coming off the cut end. These metal stops are very easy to install. Simply use pliers to bend a stop over a tooth on both sides of the cut zipper. Designed for #10 zippers. Two are required — one for each half of the zipper. These stops are made for YKK zippers.
