Ordering & Payment

Find products by typing in keywords or part numbers in the search box or by selecting a category from the navigation bar at the top of each page. Our search engine will return a list of relevant products and/or videos. Refine down your list as necessary using the attributes in the left column (e.g., Color, Price, Brand, etc.). Click on any item to see its complete description and pricing. Click on the green "Add to Cart" button to add the product to your shopping cart.


Once you have placed the item(s) you want to purchase in your cart, either click on "Continue Shopping" or "View or Edit Your Cart." If you're ready to check out, click "Proceed to Checkout." After signing in or creating a new account, choose your desired shipping method and enter any payment information. You will always have the opportunity to review your order before the order is submitted.


Logging off of a session without completing a purchase will keep the items in your cart for your next visit. But the only way to ensure you don't lose these "saved" items is to sign into your account before adding more items. So, our recommendation is to sign in immediately when shopping at Sailrite.com.


Any items you wish to keep track of long term, without the chance of having them disappear from the cart, should be placed in a wishlist.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.


Registered customers can keep credit card information on file for future orders. Check the "Save this card for future transactions" box on the payment information screen when placing an online order. Refer to "Account Information" in the website footer to learn how to register.


We do accept checks. Please email info@sailrite.com for instructions. Orders paid by check will be held for approximately 5 days until the check clears.


All prices and transactions are in U.S. dollars (USD).


International Customers: If you wish to pay with a wire transfer, please email info@sailrite.com for instructions.

All online orders are subject to credit card capture and verification. To avoid any delays with your order, please make sure all billing information you provide us exactly matches your credit card-issuing bank's records.


If your order is canceled, your charges will be credited back to your payment method.


If your debit card is declined, you may have a daily purchase limit. Call your bank to verify whether this is the case. Some banks will approve larger one-time purchases upon request.

Ordering a Gift Certificate

Gift certificates are available for purchase online. To order a gift certificate, click on "Gift Certificates" in the website footer. Fill in all required fields and preview what will be emailed. Click "Add Gift Certificate to Cart." You can also check gift certificate balances here.


Sailrite sells virtual gift certificates. You may have the gift certificate emailed to yourself or directly to a recipient of your choice. You can also leave a custom message for the recipient. After payment has been processed, your recipient will receive an email from Sailrite containing a gift certificate code and your custom message.

Using a Coupon Code or Gift Certificate

Any promotion code or gift certificate number should be entered either at the shopping cart or the payment screen during online checkout. Any discounts will be applied to the total of your order and will be available for review before the order is submitted.


If you received a gift certificate as a part of a promotion and the qualifying purchase is returned, your gift certificate will be voided. If this gift certificate has already been used, your refund for the qualifying item will be less the gift certificate amount.


Gift certificates can be used in conjunction with coupon codes.


Purchased or gifted gift certificates expire after 5 years. Gift certificate expiration dates are listed in the confirmation email. If you return a purchase made using a gift certificate, your refund will be issued as a store credit.


Gift certificates may be used to purchase any item from Sailrite’s website. Sailrite gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

Store Credit

If after placing an order from Sailrite.com, you see that Sailrite has a promotion or sale on any of the items in your order, we will gladly offer a price adjustment within 7 days of the date on which you placed your order. 


Price adjustments are only available on items originally purchased at full retail price where no promo codes or discounts were applied (does not apply to discontinued or closeout pricing). Each item purchased is only eligible for one price adjustment. Price adjustments will be in the form of a store credit. 


Price adjustments must be requested by email to info@sailrite.com within 7 days of your order date and must include your order number.


Sailrite collects sales tax on all non-exempt, shipped orders going to all applicable states, and on all non-exempt orders picked up at our facility. Online retailer sales tax laws may change due to new legislation. Any tax you owe will be automatically calculated and added to your order total during the checkout process. Some states require taxes to be charged against shipping as well.


Other states require that their residents file a use tax return for items purchased out of state, unless exempt. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is placed on the internet. You should visit your state's Department of Revenue website and review tax laws to comply with your state's tax laws. We also advise that you print and keep your order confirmation emails for your records in order to comply with any use taxes your state enforces.

To qualify for tax exemption, you must register through Avalara, our third-party affiliate that collects and manages Sales Tax and Exemption Certificates. Prior to registering with Avalara, you must have an email address registered to your account.

New Sailrite Customers:

If you do not have a Sailrite account, you must create one first in order to be eligible to register for tax exemption.

  • To create a Sailrite account, go to Sailrite.com and click the person icon link in the header at the top of the webpage (or in the menu on mobile devices).
  • Enter your email and password and complete the required fields.

Existing Sailrite Customers:

Sign in to check your account email address and physical address on file. Update either if desired.

  • To sign in to your account, click the person icon link in the header at the top of the webpage (or in the menu on mobile devices) and sign in to your account.
  • You can go to your account and find the mailing address you have registered with us by clicking "My Account" and then "Addresses."

When you have your account email address and mailing address, email this information to accounting@sailrite.com and our accounting department will send you an email from Avalara with a link to register for sales tax exemption. Do not email Sailrite until you have your Sailrite website account established. Do not send exemption certificates to Sailrite. You will be charged sales tax until your information has been submitted and approved by Avalara. Sales tax cannot be refunded once it has been charged.


If you qualify for tax exemption yet are being charged sales tax when you complete an order, you need to submit your tax-exempt paperwork through Avalara. If you previously submitted tax-exempt paperwork through a different process, that paperwork is no longer valid. Refer to the process listed above for more information. You will continue to be charged sales tax until your forms have been submitted via the proper channels. If you are an international customer using a freight forwarder and your order destination is to a state with economic nexus, you will be charged sales tax even if your order is being forwarded internationally.
