Full Description

Description

Recommended by the maker of Sunbrella® Marine and Upholstery fabrics to restore water repellency and stain-protection properties.

303® Fabric Guard keeps fabrics fresh, soft, colorful and breathable, all while adding a powerful coating to repel water and prevent serious stains. Use this spray to keep outdoor covers and patio upholstery clean and free of blemishes. You can even spray it on the seams of your convertible top to prevent wicking. When applied to clean and dry fabrics, 303 Fabric Guard restores lost water and stain repellency to factory levels. Extend the life of your outdoor fabric and keep it looking like new longer with regular application of Fabric Guard. One 16 oz. bottle covers approximately 40-75 square feet, which is about the size of a loveseat.

Please Note: The manufacturer of 303 Fabric Guard recommends this product be used outdoors or in well ventilated spaces.

Applications include: marine canvaswork, boat cushions, patio cushions and furniture, patio umbrellas, awnings, protective covers and more. Use 303 Fabric Guard for powerful outdoor protection on Sunbrella fabric, acrylics, polyesters, nylons, cotton duck canvas, auto and truck interiors, campers, RVs, tents, convertible tops, awnings, outdoor furniture and more.

NOTE: Do not use Fabric Guard on vinyl fabric, clear vinyl window material, zippers, plastics, rubber, fiberglass or imitation suede.

Usage Directions: Fabric Guard is flammable; keep the product and your treated fabric away from heat, sparks or open flames until dry. Do not smoke when applying 303 Fabric Guard. Spray until your fabric surface is evenly wet, overlapping sprayed areas, but do not saturate. Immediately wipe up any overspray before it dries.

NOTE: You should expect reduced coverage when applying Fabric Guard with a paint roller or brush. Apply to fabric above 70°F/21°C, and apply the product in full sun for a quicker drying and curing time. The treated material must be protected from rain and dew until completely cured. CURING: 12-24 hours dependent on temperature and type of material. If all of these steps are performed correctly, the material will be water-repellent at this point. You will need to reapply Fabric Guard depending on the fabric's exposure to sunlight and weather conditions. To test if the fabric needs to be re-treated, pour water on the fabric; if water soaks in and does not bead and roll off, time to re-treat. COVERAGE: 40-75 sq. ft. (30 x 60cm) depending on material and application method.

Features:

  • Fabric protector spray that strengthens and restores lost water repellency to outdoor and marine fabrics.
  • Safe for use on outdoor synthetic and natural fibers.
  • Protects against water-based and oil-based stains.
  • Does not alter fabric color, breathability, feel or flammability.
  • Made in the USA.

My trusty sewing machine broke and I’ve been debating on how to replace it for months now. To my delight, I got a brand new sailrite #UltrafeedLSZ for the holidays! Move over because I can’t WAIT to sew through layers of heavy duty materials with ease. Shoutout to lindshandmade for featuring sailrite because it truly helped me feel confident in the purchase. #Sewing #Handmade #Sailrite
