Full Description

Description

Originally engineered for aerospace and aviation applications, 303® Aerospace Protectant has found its way into millions of homes for day-to-day use on vehicles, sports equipment, patio furniture accessories and more. Unlike many protectants that leave greasy residues, Aerospace Protectant dries to a clear matte finish. And because it’s water-based, this protectant is safe to use on all products, from your vehicle’s paint job and leather seats to internal engine parts.

There’s a lot of power packed into this one product. A premium surface treatment, Aerospace Protectant not only protects against fading, discoloration and cracking from harmful UV rays, but repels dust and stains too. Simply spray on and wipe dry for a beautiful, matte finish that protects your vehicle from road grime and your favorite belongings from dust and soiling. Best of all, each application will last for months. No other protectant beautifies as intensely or preserves as powerfully. This product keeps UV-sensitive materials looking new, year after year.

Usage Directions: Use only on clean surfaces. For best results use 303® Multi-Surface Cleaner. Place a drop cloth under the item to be treated to catch any overspray. Out of direct sun, spray surface with 303 Aerospace Protectant and WIPE COMPLETELY DRY. If streaking occurs, too much product has been used. Use a wet towel to remove excess, IMMEDIATELY WIPE COMPLETELY DRY.

Note: This product does not air dry. Extra buffing with a dry cloth increases bonding, repellency and longevity. Apply every 3-5 weeks for maximum UV protection.

Great for use on a variety of surfaces such as vinyl upholstery, leather, plastics, synthetic and natural rubber, PVC, gel coat, vinyl siding and fiberglass. 303 Protectant also restores faded color in gel coats and Dacron® sails. Do not use on acrylics. This product is also ideal for hypalon inflatable boats, wet/dry suits, tires, side-out seals, RV EDPM rubber roofing (for your safety, never walk on a wet roof), helmets, visors, Dacron, and goggles. This product is NOT for use on unfinished leathers (such as suede), fabrics (canvas), floorings, clear plastics, gauge panels or headlights.

Do not use on clear vinyl window material. Use of the product on these surfaces can compromise clarity and may be difficult or impossible to remove in some cases.

303 Aerospace Protectant has even more applications, including:

Boat Interiors: Spray on your vinyl boat seats to prevent them from fading and cracking during boating season. It will also help keep them clean from dust and sand. It will also help prevent those dreaded sunscreen stains.

Automobile Interiors and Exteriors: Use this product on your vehicle’s dashboard every 30-45 days to protect it from the sun’s harmful UV rays, preventing fading and cracking over time. Spray on tires to make them look new without the greasy film. Use on your convertible top to keep it pliable and easier to clean.

Spa Covers: Use this product on your spa cover all year long! It will protect it from the sun’s harmful UV rays (which can cause fading/cracking) in the summer months. In the winter it will keep the material pliable and prevent it from drying out and cracking. 303 Aerospace Protectant will also help make snow and ice accumulation easier to remove/brush off as well.

Outdoor Furniture: Keep your plastic, metal or wicker outdoor patio furniture from fading, cracking and chalking. It will also help repel dust, dirt and grime that can quickly accumulate on your furniture during the enjoyable BBQ season.

Features:

  • Matte finish with no oily and greasy residue.
  • Keeps treated surfaces looking new.
  • Prevents fading and cracking.
  • Restores lost color and luster.
  • Contains powerful UV blockers.
  • Anti-static, repels smudges, dust, soiling and staining.
  • Easy to use, simply spray on and wipe dry.
  • Safe and effective for vinyl, gel-coat, fiberglass, carbon fiber, synthetic/natural rubber, plastic and finished leather.
  • Made in the USA.

Just finished the first pillowcase I’ve ever made in my life. If you didn’t know, I only started sewing in 2020. There are some great resources out there for learning. I used a helpful tutorial on the sailrite website, and I did sew it with my Ultrafeed after all. They also have a fabric calculator for pillow sewing patterns which made the process mostly newbie proof… I did sew the “wrong” side of the pattern from what I wanted, but you’d never know because most Pendleton Wool Patterns are reversible. I even learned how to do piping, and I think it’s a fancy touch for my princess pillow, as I’m calling it. I’ve got a few of these listed as made to order currently. P.S this is my absolute fave pattern and I don’t think it will last long. Just picked up 1 yard of it♥️ #inbend#madeinbend#madeinoregon #handmade#isewedthis #isew#diamondride #pendletonwool#pendletonpillows #bolsterpillow #learningnewthings #selftaught #smallbusinessowner #etsyshop #pnwmaker #pnwlife #pnwstyle #pnwfashion#ultrafeed

Members of the Indiana WCAA chapter toured sailrite in Columbia City, IN 🤩 it was fantastic! What’s behind us? Giant blocks (called buns) of foam! (The tallest in our group are over 6’ tall). Chapter members are #indianainteriordesigners #customworkrooms #draperyinstallers, and fabric reps. We learn so much from each other and our guest speakers. We’ve been doing some last minute updates and repairs ahead of our trip north. I finished up some canvas projects to give us a bit more shade and a better privacy cover for the door. Against all odds, both of my patterns and execution worked out nearly perfectly. I wanted to make a full enclosure, but I’m starting with this cover to see if we actually need anything more elaborate. I’ve had my sailrite Ultrafeed LS for almost a year now. I built up my skills on some non-boat canvas projects. We’re also adding a bit of length to our anchor. Going from 15” chain and 150” line to 50” and 200”. I’ll finish up this splice with the hot knife later. More concerning was the high voltage alarm on the smart shunt monitoring the house bank. Turns out it was just was badly corroded and showing some wildly high voltage readings. That got replaced with the IP65 version. It was nice to have fisheriessupply somewhat close to home so I did not have to order this part. One could argue that I should have had the IP65 version from the onset. 😞 Second we had a minor fuel leak at the connection for the sender. That’s also fixed, but we got some help from kingsalmonmarine on that one. 🥳 Not pictured is that we scraped, sanded, primed, and painted the door frame. The paint was bubbling. The likely culprit is from salt water spraying everywhere when Murphy shakes off in the cockpit. There’s more to do on this, but that’s a future Kristi problem. That’s kind of a lot in addition to buying and moving into a new boathouse. Now we are ready for packing and final prep!

The largest bag I’ve made. I used the sailrite duffle pattern as a base then altered a bit. This bag has 4 extra inches compared to the pattern so it’s a large 28 inches side to side. I’ve added a wider front pocket and pleated the interior lining to allow for more room in the front pocket. I’ve used the famous horweenleather English Dublin and a nylon interior lining. All this was done on the #fabricator sewing machine from Sailrite.

Another huge upholstery project revealed! This one was also a year in the making and involved only 2 sizes of one sunbrella fabric from sailrite but was also 20 slipcovers! I’ve misplaced the original photos, but the set was a faded teal prior to this update. My client was so pleased she asked me to wait for a few weeks as she cleaned up and reset her poolside gazebo. She has now declared this her favorite spot to sit and read! #gazebo #outdoorliving #sunbrella #sailrite #slipcovers #upholstery #zippers #customslipcovers #outdoorfurniture #seamstress #solutionsbytatiana
