This is a separating mounting base and cover plate set for 38mm Carbiepoles™. This hardware set is perfect for applications where you want to temporarily mount a sun shade pole to a solid surface. The base is a low-profile design that screws onto a solid surface for a permanent mounting base for the pole holder. The pole holder then snaps into position onto the base for a very secure pole holder for the 38mm Carbiepoles. The cover plate protects the base plate and gives a nice, polished look to the installment.

The pole holder/receiver is canted 10 degrees for optimal pole positioning for proper tensioning of your sun shade. When it is time to take down the sun shade, simply remove the pole and push the button on the base and the entire pole holder top slides out from the base. Then slide the cover plate into the fixed mounting base until you hear the click that indicates the cover plate is locked in place. To remove the plate, press the button and slide the cover plate out. Compatible with 38mm Mounting Base and 38mm Mounting Base.
