The Twist-Lock Stud Driver is designed to fit a standard drill, enabling efficient installation of the Twist-Lock Single Screw Stud. Please note that a pre-drilled hole is recommended before installation. For wooden surfaces, a #7 screw typically requires a 7/64" drill bit for pre-drilling. This driver features a rubber sleeve that holds the Twist-Lock Stud in place in the driver while positioning it on your surface. This driver is recommended for use on wooden surfaces only, as mechanical installation in fiberglass surfaces may cause spidering or gelcoat crazing. When installing the Twist-Lock Single Screw Stud in fiberglass, we recommend using the Twist-Lock Driver Installation Tool, which is a manual setting tool.
