This is an electric-forged 316 stainless steel shackle that is polished to a high luster and stamped with the screw pin diameter for easy reference. Twist shackles are forged with a 90-degree twist so the two attachment points can be perpendicular without torquing. They work great as a tack shackle, as well as for extending the reach of a sail corner grommet.
