Odyssey is a lightweight, acrylic-coated fabric that provides long-lasting durability at a great value. Woven from 100% polyester, this 300 denier fabric has excellent strength, tear and abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, as well as UV and mildew resistance.

There is a right and wrong side to Odyssey. This fabric has a coated side, which features a smooth texture and a slight reflective sheen that can be seen in the light. This side should not be exposed to the sun.

However, the slightly rough, completely matte side of the fabric can be exposed to the sun. Odyssey is an exterior marine grade fabric, mainly used for lightweight protective covers on boats, dinghies, jet skis and grills. It can also be used for bags and totes.

Note: The term denier refers to the fiber thickness of individual threads or filaments used in the creation of textiles and fabrics. Fabrics with a high denier count tend to be thick, sturdy and durable.
