Twine 5-ply Waxed Bobbin (81') is a pre-waxed, round construction polyester twine used for hand sewing. The ply used depends on personal preference, but Sailrite recommends this 5-ply twine doubled for sewing 7/8" rings. Use with a #17 or #18 hand needle.

Sailrite recommends a smaller twine for sewing seams and a larger twine for sewing larger rings.

This pre-waxed twine is also great for hand stitching buttons in upholstery and pillows. The wax helps to prevent the knot from untying over time.
