The Twist-Lock Driver is designed for manually installing Twist-Lock single screw studs into fiberglass or wood surfaces. Its large cellulose acetate handle provides a comfortable grip and enough leverage for proper installation, while the fluted design helps prevent the tool from rolling when set down.

Pre-drilling is recommended before installing the fastener. For wood, a #7 screw typically requires a 7/64" drill bit. For most fiberglass applications, a 1/8" drill bit is recommended. Because this is a manual driver, it allows you to control the amount of pressure applied when driving the screw into fiberglass. If excessive force is needed, stop and slightly enlarge the pilot hole to help prevent spider cracking or gelcoat crazing. Chamfering the hole in fiberglass is also recommended to further reduce the risk of surface damage.

For proper sealing and to help prevent water intrusion, use Trimmable Butyl Tape during installation.
