This Barry King Stitch Groover Handle pairs with the Stitch Groover Blades (sold separately) to create a channel on the leather's surface for your thread to sit in. A Stitch Groover is an incredibly useful tool for both hand stitching and machine sewing leather. Use it to mark where to stitch so you have a straight line to follow. The thread then nests in the channel and lays flush with the surface of your leather, reducing any potential chaffing and wear and tear on the thread.

The adjustable edge guide allows you to keep a nice stitch line perfectly parallel to the edge of your leather. The tool can be flipped to the left or right with the turn of a screw, making it usable by both right- and left-handed leather crafters.
