Crypton fabrics bring peace of mind to any indoor living space. Here we've used Nomad Stone #121887 (couch), Dalmation Eggshell #121891 (pillows) and Graceland Sky #121882 (chair).

What Is Crypton?

It all began in 1993 when Craig and Randy Rubin had the idea to develop a dependable upholstery fabric, so they began brainstorming in the basement of their Michigan home. Their primary goal was to create a stain-resistant, attractive product that would stand up to the traffic of any living room. And they succeeded! Today, the Crypton company is headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, and has a green manufacturing facility in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. While they offer dependable commercial-grade fabrics, this innovative brand has also developed a line of residential fabrics called Crypton Home Fabric, which we’re thrilled to offer at Sailrite.

Outstanding Capabilities

Crypton Home Fabrics are perfectly tailored to fit into the everyday activities that make your house a home. These intelligent, easy-to-clean fabrics use the same technology as their contract lines, so they’re ready for years of use while still sporting a luxurious look and feel. With a two-year warranty to back their products, Crypton fabrics are specially designed to withstand all that life has to throw at them.

But what do we mean by intelligent fabrics? Well, fabrics that are smart enough to combat the strain of everyday traffic. Crypton fabrics have Silver Ion Technology, which ensures proper antimicrobial capabilities for the ultimate defense against bacteria. Plus they’re guaranteed to possess superior stain and moisture repellency and odor resistance while still remaining soft, beautiful and perfectly suited for everyday living. Most water-based spills simply roll off the fabric or can be easily blotted away. Oil-based stains (such as salad dressing) are easy to spot treat with a mild soap and water solution. It’s that simple! And with impressive abrasion-resistance ratings, you can feel confident that these products are durable enough to resist abrasion and wear.

To add to their already impressive capabilities, Crypton fabrics are assembled in the USA with an environmentally conscious mentality. These products are third-party GREENGUARD® Gold Certified and free of potentially hazardous chemicals, making them safe for areas that encounter children, pets and the elderly. As a company, Crypton also makes an effort to maintain an ongoing recycling program for their manufacturing remnants.

Make a statement with Dalmation Denim #121895 (chair) and Graceland Snow #121878 (pillows).
