Eyelets reinforce holes in fabric or leather and prevent the material from tearing or fraying. They also create attachment or pass-through points in fabric or leather assemblies. These single-piece hardware items have a completely hollow post; one end of the post is rolled or flared during installation to hold the eyelet in the assembly.

Cut a 5/16" hole in your material before eyelet installation. Use them for small, light-duty items such as key rings or jewelry, or as decorative accents on belts and other accessories. Eyelets can also be used to accommodate drawstrings, shoelaces and other small cording applications. They can be installed with the Sailrite® HandyPress® using compatible dies, or with a compatible handheld tool set and a mallet when available.
